Tes SEND Show: SchoolScreener Exhibit

Find the SchoolScreener team at the Tes SEND show, stand #48, from October 7th-8th.

The SchoolScreener® team are proud to announce that we will be attending the Tes SEND show next month, running from the 7th-8th October. This is the 30th anniversary of this landmark networking event for those who work with children with special educational needs & disabilities.

How SchoolScreener can help SEND Teams

CEO Michael Ter-Berg will be running a table on the exhibitor floor, so please come along to Stand #48 and join us for a chat. We would love to hear your thoughts on how visual & hearing impairments can affect children with SEND.

Research shows that children with other special educational needs are already more likely to suffer from impaired vision than their neurotypical peers. After all, many conditions that are associated with SEN support are also associated with an increased risk of sight or hearing loss. And, there’s good reason to believe that it may be harder for those facing arrested social development to communicate that there is an issue. So, vision and hearing screening can be a crucial tool in identifying whether a visual or hearing impairment is hindering social or educational development.

To find out more, please do feel free to come to the event and stop by our stand.
